Wuthering Waves is currently on Version 3.5, “Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns”. Phase 1 features Yangyang: Xuanling, Lynae and Luuk Herssen, and Phase 2 brings Suisui and Aemeath. The countdown above targets the next update, Version 3.6.
Wuthering Waves is Kuro Games' open-world action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world rebuilding after a cataclysm called the Lament. You play as Rover, an amnesiac protagonist, exploring open regions and fighting with fluid, combo-driven combat that emphasises dodging, parries and swapping between three Resonators mid-fight. Its standout system is Echoes — you defeat monsters, absorb them, and equip their forms both as gear and as summonable attacks.
Content lands in numbered versions roughly every six weeks, each split into two Convene banner phases — Convene being the game's limited-character gacha. Each version brings new Resonators to obtain, story chapters, exploration areas, and limited events. The timer above counts down to the moment the next version becomes playable after maintenance.
Resonators are pulled with Astrite, converted into Radiant Tides for the limited Featured Resonator Convene. Wuthering Waves is more generous on pity than most: a five-star is guaranteed within 80 pulls rather than 90, still on a 50/50 for whether it's the featured Resonator, with the next one guaranteed if you lose. Signature weapons sit on a separate Convene with a 100% featured rate. Plan your Astrite and Tides around the Resonator you're aiming for using the countdown.
Current banners, the upcoming phase, and the full version history are listed below, including which five-star Resonators were featured in each patch. Wuthering Waves runs a single global server set, so update timing is the same worldwide — use the timezone selector for your local clock.
