A fast, no-clutter tracker that answers one question for today's biggest live-service gacha games: how long until the next update?
Update Countdown shows a live countdown to the next patch for each game it covers, along with the characters or outfits featured on the current and upcoming banners and a history of past versions. Everything updates in real time, and every timer can be shown in your own timezone.
There's no account, sign-up, or download — just open a game's page and you'll see exactly when its next update lands and what's on it. If you're new to how gacha update cycles work, the release schedules guide walks through versions, banner phases and pity systems across every game we track.
Each countdown targets the moment a game actually becomes playable again — when the scheduled maintenance for a new version ends and the servers reopen, not just the calendar date. For HoYoverse titles (Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero) and Wuthering Waves, every server updates at the same global instant, so a single countdown is correct worldwide; you can convert it to your local time with the timezone selector on any page.
Banner end times can differ from the patch time. On HoYoverse games the first banner phase ends per-server (each region at the same local time, a different UTC moment), while the second phase ends at one global time. The site accounts for this, and lets you pick your server so the banner timers match what you see in game.
Nikke is handled a little differently: it has no public version numbers, so its schedule is keyed to in-game events and banner rotations rather than numbered patches.
Confirmed release dates are taken from official announcements — livestreams, special programs, and in-game notices — as soon as they're published. Versions that haven't been officially dated yet are shown as estimates based on each game's regular release cadence, and are clearly labelled so you can tell the two apart.
Patch dates and banner line-ups are refreshed regularly, and banner art is pulled from community wikis. If you ever spot something wrong, every game page has a “Report” button — corrections are welcome.
Anyone who plays these games and wants to plan around updates — saving premium currency for a specific banner, knowing when maintenance starts, or just keeping an eye on what's next.
